Has the virus separated you from your lover? Do you know the pain of LDR (Long-distance-relationship)?
In the Chinese folk tale of Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, 牛郎níu láng (the cowherd, symbolizing the star Altair) and 织女zhī nǔ (the weaver girl, symbolizing the star Vega) were forbidden from being together: the Weaver girl was a goddess while the Cowherd was just a peasant. They were banished to opposite sides of the heavenly river (symbolizing the Milky Way). Once a year, on the 7th day of the 7th lunar month, a flock of magpies would form a bridge to reunite the lovers for just one day.
