Enjoy the Beauty of Guilin
The Reed Flute Cave
is a naturally carved limestone cave in Guilin that got its name from the plethora of reeds growing outside that were made into flutes. Inside the cave, there are lots of interesting stone pillars and rock formations that have been deemed to replicate various shapes and objects that resemble mythological creatures,
vegetables, to even the Statue of Liberty.
Lijiang River
that winds its way down from Guilin to Yangshuo is perhaps one of the most famous waterways in China. Regardless of sunny day or raining, both leads to beautiful scenery as the reflections of these elegant conical limestone peaks on mirror-like clear water are just like a fairyland. The waterfalls, small villages, water buffaloes and hills lined with bamboo, has often been described as Chinese paintings. In fact, the picture behind the 20 Yuan note is capture from Lijlang River.
Seven Star Park
takes its name from its seven peaks which are laid out like the Big Dipper constollation. The park is on the castern side of the Li River in central Guilin City.
Attractions in the park include: Seven Star Cave, Dragon Hiding Cave, Flower Bridge, the Zoo, Maping Mosque, Guihal Forest of Steles, and much more. Covering an area of 1.34 square kilometers, it is the largest park in Guilin, and contains some of the finest sights in the city.
