QNA Life in China
Very relevant for those of you who want to study in China!

Scholarships are only available for Diploma, Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral levels.*

*As well as scholarships for language programs

It is very easy to make good friends with students from China, Singapore or other countries. Generally, making friends with local Chinese residents will be easier if you can speak Mandarin, but actually there are several universities and cities in China that have become favorites for Indonesian students.

So, it can make it easier for you to adapt to a new environment. Apart from that, there are already many international students in China. Therefore, apart from being able to make friends with Chinese citizens, you can make friends with students from other countries.

Both have their own pluses and minuses. If you are offline, you can learn many things in everyday life, such as learning culture, language, being able to know more about other people’s countries, technology, facilities, and so on.

Apart from that, you can also become a more independent person. If the classroom atmosphere is offline, you can interact directly with laoshi and friends, whereas if it’s online, it’s more difficult to focus because in China it’s currently fully offline so the tea cher divides the focus more into the offline class. Students who are still studying online will learn from recorded videos.

The positive thing is that after finishing class, can immediately continue your activities, for example doing assignments, resting, learning other things, and so on.

Very safe!

Generally, areas surrounded by students will definitely be safe, because security is tight, so the safety of international students is guaranteed.

But don’t be careless, especially when protecting your identity (passport, bank, etc., you can’t lend it carelessly to other people). Always remember the initial goal, which is to study so avoid extreme activities and always be alert.

Generally, students live in campus dormitories, but they can also choose to live off campus. The point is to look at the policies of each campus. If you want permission to live outside, you must first have the knowledge or permission of the campus.

For March intake, the duration of Mandarin language learning is generally 1 semester or 6 months. Meanwhile, for scholarships with a duration of 1 year, intake is always in September every year.
